About the Card Explorer

Browse, search, and filter over 4,000 chase-rarity Pokémon trading cards with institutional-grade price tracking. Each card in the catalog is matched against live Near Mint market prices from JustTCG (primary source), cross-checked against eBay sold listings, and enriched with 24-hour, 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, and 1-year percentage changes. The result is a single dashboard where you can see what a card costs today, what it cost a year ago, and whether the current price is inside a healthy buy, hold, or sell zone.

The trend score (0–100) is PokeTop10's proprietary momentum indicator. It combines recent percentage change, volatility, volume signals, and position inside the card's historical range to produce a single number that answers the question: "Is this card gaining momentum faster than the market, or is the move just noise?" Scores above 75 flag candidates for the Breakout Detector; scores below 25 indicate faltering cards you may want to avoid or short. Investment grade (A through F) is a separate signal that rates a card on value, momentum, supply, and risk — grade A means strong conviction buy, grade F means avoid.

Use the filters above to narrow by set (Prismatic Evolutions, Surging Sparks, Stellar Crown, Paldean Fates, Paradox Rift, and every other modern English set plus vintage WOTC), rarity (Special Illustration Rare, Hyper Rare, Illustration Rare, Ultra Rare, and so on), language (English or Japanese), trend bucket (breakout, trending, stable, declining, falling), or a price range. Sort by 30-day change to spot the cards running hot this month, by price to find the biggest chase cards, or by trend score to surface accumulation candidates before the market catches on. The "My Watchlist" toggle filters the grid to only cards you've starred — watchlist data is stored locally in your browser, no account required.

Card Explorer FAQ

Where do the prices come from?

The primary source is JustTCG's Near Mint market price, cross-referenced against eBay sold listings and PokemonTCG.io metadata. Prices refresh multiple times per day, and each card's detail view shows a price history chart built from our own daily snapshots — we record and store the data ourselves rather than embedding a third-party widget.

Why isn't every Pokémon card listed?

The catalog deliberately focuses on chase-rarity cards — the Special Illustration Rares, Hyper Rares, alt arts, and vintage holos that actually move in price and matter to collectors and investors. Bulk commons and uncommons are excluded because their prices are static and tracking them adds noise, not signal.

Is the Card Explorer free?

Yes — browsing, searching, filtering, price charts, and the watchlist are all free with no account. The watchlist lives in your browser's local storage. A free PokeFolio account adds collection tracking and price alerts.

Is this investment advice?

No. Trend scores and investment grades are quantitative signals computed from market data — they are research tools, not recommendations. Collectible prices can fall as fast as they rise. Read the full disclaimer before making purchase decisions.
